Alain Waha

Global Head, Digital Transformation

Alain is the global lead for BIM and Digital Transformation at BuroHappold Engineering. Reporting to the Global Design & Technology Director, Alain’s work since 2014 has been to institutionalize BIM across this global practice, and to implement technology initiatives. He is also works with digital startups in #proptech and automotive.

Alain joined the construction industry in 2008 after a career in Aerospace and Automotive. Since entering the AEC sector, he held roles as CEO of VC backed BIM services firms where he delivered BIM transformation and digital implementation. His experience now spans the breadth the AEC sector in term of supply chain, geography and projects. This includes VDC in the Middle-East, Design projects in Europe, and Supply Chain enablement in the United States.

Alain is a regular invited speaker at Digital Transformation and industry events such as BUILTWorlds, BILT, AutoDesk University, Ecobuild, and is an advisor to the Institute of Civil Engineers digital initiative.


Anthony Lapierre

Regional BIM Manager (Manila - Middle East Team)

Anthony is an accomplished BIM Implementation Expert with 16 years of experience in architecture/construction and ten years in leadership roles, managing a range of large-scale, complex and iconic projects in North America, the Middle East, and Asia.

In his capacity of Regional BIM Manager in the Arcadis Global Excellence Center of the Philippines, he is responsible to oversee the implementation of BIM for a 500+ workforce, delivering projects all over the world.


Napon Boonchanta

Chief Operating Officer | BIM Manager

Napon is a Managing Director and a BIM Manager of Kor-It Design and Construction Co.,Ltd. He received a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and a master degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Initially trained as a construction engineer, he has moved into a project management role, with LEED AP credential and a specialization in Building Information Modeling (BIM).

After a period of employment in the US, he went back to Thailand, started a design-construction company called Kor-It along with his partners, and also lead a BIM team at Lumpini Wisdom and Solution Co.,Ltd (Formerly Wisdom Consulting and Solutions Co.,Ltd) as a Director of BIM department. The highlighted experiences include implementing BIM in organizations and projects for Thailand’s major real estate developers such as MQDC, LPN Development PLC and Ananda Development PLC. Currently, apart from oversee design-build projects at Kor-It, he is a corporate BIM consultant for AP(Thailand) PLC, lecturer at Chulalongkorn University and a working committee of EIT’s Thailand BIM Guideline.


Teerawat Tangpraprutgul (Fin)

Assistant BIM Director

I’ve joined Ananda since 2014 as a structure engineer in product development department. In 2016, I am the first BIM manager in Ananda take care of BIM department which responds on manage BIM projects, establish Ananda BIM standard, and communicate to partnerships. Also, I am one of the co-founders of BIM Club Thailand. BIM Club Thailand is an informal organization which has an objective to do knowledge sharing for BIM users.

Wasunthara Chamraschai

Associate Director – MEP, Transportation

Wasunthara is a Mechanical Engineer with 22 years of strong background in engineering experience in a field design and supervision for mass transit system, high rise buildings, department stores, factories, universities and airport projects of Mechanical system especially MVAC system including air conditioning, ventilation, smoke control and pressurization systems etc.

He has completed the mechanical system designs based on various international codes including ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE and LEED.


Takrit Jirawudomchai

Associate, Design Director Architecture - BIM Manager

Takrit received a Master’s Degree in Architecture (M.Arch) from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles, United States. Since then, Takrit has taken charge of many projects both in the U.S. and throughout Asia. Recently, Takrit has also lectured at the School of Architecture & Design at Assumption University and Raffles Design International School, both reputable and well-known design schools in Thailand.

Takrit joined DWP as an Associate Design Director Architecture and BIM manager. He is primarily responsible for project coordination and documentation. His other responsibilities also include managing project design teams to deliver high-quality documentation in a timely manner. Takrit has also been a key team member on various large-scale projects, including high-rise towers, LEED Platinum buildings, and high-speed rail systems & terminals stations throughout Bangkok. He is highly competent in CAD and BIM software, and also has highly developed communication skills, and construction documentation & detailing.


Athasit Sirisonthi (Phai)

Assistant Vice President - Engineering Service Section

Experienced Assistant Vice President Engineering Service Section with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Skilled in Value Engineering, Building & Infrastructure Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Construction. Strong professional with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) focused in Structural Engineering from Thammasat University. BIM Manager of STECON and Lecturer for BIM in Civil Engineer at Faculty if Engineering Thammasat University. Specialist for COE in civil engineering.

Bunda Pongprot (Ben)

Associate, Head of BIM

Bunda is an Associate and head of the BIM department at Architects 49 Limited, Bangkok, Thailand. In 2014 he is proud to join Architects 49 at a time of digital transformation with the adoption of new technologies to aid in the design process such as BIM software, drones, AR and VR.

Bunda is experienced in positions of leadership with expertise in BIM management and architectural design for projects ranging from commercial, municipal, industrial, transportation, institutional, retail and residential projects. Previously Bunda held a position as a Principal, at Arai Jackson Ellison Murakami LLP, Seattle, WA, U.S.A. from 1992 – 2013 before moving back to Thailand to join Architects 49 Limited.


Phil Lazarus

Digital Practice Leader, Asia

Phil Lazarus is an American Architect with over 20 years of experience in the design, documentation and delivery of large projects around the globe. Immersed in 3d process from the start of his career, he has leveraged the power of Digital on the behalf of architects, engineers, contractors and clients. Involved with Singapore’s largest development projects since 2006, Phil has been leading the charge in implementing technology based innovation throughout Asia.

Working tirelessly to advance marketplace, Phil is a faculty member in the Singapore BCA’s BIM Specialist Diploma Program, building fundamental understanding of the process. Simultaneously, he has founded the “Forum for Advanced Revit Training in Singapore” to assist in developing core modelling skills amongst eager Revit users. He continues to be involved in grassroots support of technological evangelism through regional involvement with The Digital Built Environment Institute.

In his current role as Aurecon’s Digital Practice Leader for Asia, Phil is overseeing the activities of over 200 staff focused upon BIM, digital engineering, and applied technology in practice. He leads Aurecon’s Singapore-based Centre of Digital Excellence; exporting best practices for information management and implementation methodology to operations in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Indonesia.

Phil’s core belief is that experienced knowledgeable people with access to the highest levels of technology & training results in enterprise efficiency and improved project delivery.
